Pekiti-Tirsia Kali Sweden to Join the "Dog Brothers Gathering of the Pack" 2025, 16/17th August, Switzerland.

"Higher consciousness through harder contact." 

We are proud to announce that Pekiti-Tirsia Kali Sweden will once again participate in this year's "Dog Brothers Gathering of the Pack" in Switzerland — and once again, Henrik stand as the only participant from Sweden in nearly 20 years.

The Gathering is an event as raw and real as martial arts can get. Hosted by the legendary Dog Brothers, it is not a tournament, not a demonstration, but a full-contact crucible where skill, will, and spirit are tested under fire.

This is a unique martial arts event that pushes fighters to their limits in real-contact stick fighting and empty-hand combat. It's not a competition in the traditional sense — there are no rules, no judges, no referees, no trophies, minimal safety gear, no winners, and no losers. Instead, it serves as a testing ground for courage, skill, and composure under pressure.
The event is known for its raw intensity. The phrase "higher consciousness through harder contact" isn't just a motto — it's a lived experience for everyone who steps inside the circle.

Pekiti-Tirsia Kali, rooted in Filipino martial tradition, is a close-quarters combat system built for effectiveness under pressure. Historically, PTK has a long tradition of participating in these events. The Gathering offers a rare opportunity to apply that training in a dynamic and unpredictable environment — where timing, distance, and strategy matter just as much as toughness.

News Update

New site and celebration

We're excited to announce that our new website is officially up and running. Don't worry—the old site hasn't disappeared for good. It's simply been taken offline temporarily and might return in the near future for all of you who feel a bit nostalgic. It definitely had a strong 90's vibe to it—one that's worth saving.

This year marks a significant milestone: it has been 30 years since Pekiti-Tirsia Kali was first introduced to the land of the Vikings, Sweden. To honor three decades of growth, resilience, and community, we are celebrating by committing to a powerful daily tradition—executing 2,000 strikes every single day throughout the year. 

We also want to take a moment to send our heartfelt birthday wishes to our Grand Tuhon, Leo T. Gaje Jr., in honor of his 87th birthday, which he celebrated on May 5th. Grand Tuhon Gaje is not only the Supreme Grandmaster of Pekiti-Tirsia, but also a living legend whose dedication, wisdom, and leadership have inspired generations of martial artists around the world. His life's work has laid the foundation for what Pekiti-Tirsia is today—an art rooted in effectiveness, discipline, and warrior spirit.
